Years of knowledge pooled together to get the best outcomes for the community ensures members will have the best resources we can pull together to build a strong future or the community.
Chamber Objectives
The Moree Chamber works to improve the overall business opportunities in the community keeping the following broad objectives in mind :-
- To be the "Voice of Moree Business" in matters relating to local, state and federal government policy formulation and implementation.
- To advise and assist local business to prosper and grow.
- To increase job opportunities.
- To contribute to the overall stability of the community.
- To encourage and assist community organisations.
- To provide a primary point of contact to facilitate discussion, review and enquiry.
We are a not for profit organisation working to represent the interests of business and to provide opportunities for business within the Moree community, with a purpose of building a vibrant and healthy local economy.
Who Leads the Moree Chamber
Our members run the Moree Chamber. Each year they elect a Board to manage the association, set goals and determine policies. The Board in turn elects an Executive of office bearers. Nominations close in August each year.
The Board meets every second Tuesday. Members are welcome to attend these meetings. Regular general members meetings and events are also held.
